Fluency is NxtLab's flagship executive AI program — a hands-on, high-impact experience delivered across three sessions: two that turn leadership teams into confident, capable AI users and agent builders, and a third on strategic AI direction and the operating model required to scale AI responsibly. No lectures, no generic theory: executives work on their own real tasks with the AI tools your organisation already uses — Copilot, Claude, GPT, or Gemini — and walk out with practical skills, working AI agents, and the credibility to lead AI adoption across their organisation. From abstract concepts to confident, hands-on use
Fluency is our facilitated AI literacy program for executive teams. It takes leaders from abstract understanding to concrete, in-role experience with your organisation's AI tools — Copilot, Claude, GPT, and others — working on their own documents, emails, and recurring tasks, not generic case studies. Executives leave the room as savvy, confident users, able to speak with credibility to their teams and Board about AI adoption.
How it works
The program is built on three principles. In their own work — every exercise uses a real document or task each executive brings, so the learning lands immediately. Confidence before complexity — personal fluency first, then scaling that fluency into reusable AI agents and shared governance. Safe to experiment — sessions run as a coached peer-learning environment, not a lecture.
Why it matters
Many organisations have rolled out AI licences, but executives have had limited hands-on time with the tools. That gap is the key barrier to realising productivity returns on existing AI investment, identifying where AI can create opportunity and accelerate delivery, and setting direction on AI for their teams and the broader organisation. Fluency addresses it directly.
The program
Three facilitated workshops, a few weeks apart. Session 1 builds foundational fluency — core concepts, better prompting, questioning AI output critically — applied live to real executive work. Session 2 steps up to agents: each executive builds a reusable AI assistant for a recurring task in their portfolio, followed by a facilitated executive roundtable on AI governance, opportunity, and risk. Session 3 goes deeper on strategic AI direction and the operating model required to scale AI responsibly.
